Teresa J. Bello-Burgos, DMD has earned the Accredited Member credential in the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD). She joins an elite group of dental professionals who have achieved Accreditation in the Academy.
Since 1986, the AACD Accreditation process has provided an opportunity for dentists and laboratory technicians to enhance their professional skills and knowledge in cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Accreditation is an honor requiring a dedication to continuing education and responsible patient care.
Dr. Bello-Burgos was born in La Vega, Dominican Republic. She is a graduate of the University Autonoma of Santo Domingo, UASD and Nova Southeastern University, Florida. She has been a member of the AACD since 2006.
In addition to being a member of the AACD, Dr. Bello-Burgos has completed programs at the Pankey Institute and the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum Dental Education Program. As the founder and president of Monsenor Felipe Bello Foundation, she gives back to her community by offering dental charity services to children and adults in the rural areas of the Dominican Republic and South Florida.
Dr. Bello-Burgos is married to Julio Burgos, CHA, and they have two children, Julio Jose and Perla Liz. She enjoys family vacations and charitable work.
She will be honored for this achievement at AACD 2017 in Las Vegas on April 21.
